Does the new law (RRO) apply to me?
Yes it does. The new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
applies to EVERY business. In basic terms it places a
duty of care on the Employer, Occupier or Owner as the
Responsible Person. It is your role as a responsible person to
appoint a Competent Person to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment
